Cranston police have identified the body found burning at a cemetery as that of a Providence man. Colonel Marco Palombo Jr. told The Providence Journal that police are following several leads in a homicide investigation. He did not release the man’s identity, saying authorities were still working to notify his family. Firefighters were called to the Pocasset Cemetery Wednesday night for a brush fire. They discovered that the flames were coming from a body.
