The man who prosecutors say kicked an 8-year-old girl in the leg while on an Orange Line train last month was arraigned Thursday in Charlestown District Court on one charge of assault with a dangerous weapon, prosecutors said. A not-guilty plea was entered on behalf of Antwan Crawford, 32, who is charged with kicking the girl Feb. 27 after arguing with passengers on the train because he believed someone had stepped on his shoes, Suffolk District Attorney Daniel F. Conley’s office said. The girl’s mother took a picture of Crawford, which police used to identify him and arrest him, the statement said.
