N.H. toll plaza switches to overnight honor system

The New Hampshire Department of Transportation has extended its overnight honor system to the Exit 11 toll plaza in Merrimack. The Exit 11 toll plaza on the F.E. Everett Turnpike is no longer staffed between 9 p.m. and 5 a.m. During those hours, drivers who do not have an E-ZPass transponder will have three options: use the exact change lane and pay with exact change; use the exact change lane and grab an envelope that can be mailed in to pay the toll plus a 50-cent processing fee; or use the E-ZPass lane, have your license plate photographed, and be sent a bill for the toll plus a $1 fee.
