Federal agents, police SWAT teams make drug arrests in Hartford


Federal agents and local police SWAT teams have arrested several people on drug charges during morning raids in Hartford. Hartford police said city officers and agents with the FBI and Drug Enforcement Administration were involved in Thursday morning’s raids on Zion Street and in other locations. Hartford police Lieutenant Brian Foley said authorities executed warrants for several people. Their names have not been released. Authorities were heavily armed on Zion Street and brought SWAT vehicles and ambulances to the scene. No injuries were reported.
