Dismissal motion denied in arsons

A judge has refused to dismiss charges against a Northampton man accused of setting a series of fires in the city in 2009 that resulted in two deaths. The judge did rule that indictments regarding seven fires set in 2007 cannot be pursued at Anthony Baye’s trial, scheduled next month.
