A man accused of threatening Governor Dannel P. Malloy of Connecticut has been arraigned on charges of threatening and of illegal possession of an assault weapon. John Montysko, 59, of Barkhamsted was arraigned Monday in New Britain Superior Court. State Police said they arrested Montysko at his home Friday after WFSB-TV reported a threatening comment posted on its website April 14. Troopers said they found several weapons at Montysko’s home, including an AK-47, which is illegal to possess in Connecticut. Montysko was charged with threatening and inciting injury to a person.
