A Wakefield man has turned in a $1 million lottery ticket, one of two sold in Rhode Island for back-to-back drawings last week that are big winners. State lottery officials said Lawrence Croce Jr. visited headquarters Monday with his wife and two children to claim his Powerball winnings. He and his wife say the money will go to fund their children’s education and to remodel their kitchen. Croce’s ticket matched all five numbers but not the Powerball number.
