Victim named in Dorchester shooting

A man who was shot and killed in Dorchester Sunday night has been identified by authorities as they continue to investigate. Boston police said Malcolm Campbell, 23, of South Boston was discovered on the corner of Howard Avenue and Quincy Street suffering from gunshot wounds after officers in the area heard shots fired. Campbell was taken to Boston Medical Center, where he was pronounced dead. Anyone with information about the homicide is urged to call police at 800-494-TIPS.
