The westbound side of the Storrow Drive Tunnel under Leverett Circle will be shut down at night due to construction for nearly a week starting Sunday, the Massachusetts Department of Transportation says. The closure of the tunnel will begin Sunday at 11:30 p.m. and last until 5 a.m. as repairs are made to the tunnel ceiling, said Mike Verseckes, a spokesman for the department. The nightly closures will continue through the week and wrap up on Saturday at 5 a.m., he said.
