Southington police are on the lookout for a 5½-foot fiberglass lobster. Police said someone stole the lobster statue from in front of Gulf Shrimp, a local seafood company. Camille Simoneaux, co-owner of Gulf Shrimp, told WVIT-TV that employees realized the statue was missing over the weekend and called police. She said the lobster is worth about $2,000, but, more important, it is a local landmark and good advertising for the business.
