A pilot had minor injuries when his small airplane crashed while landing at Meriden-Markham Municipal Airport. Jeff Price, airport manager, said the plane landed in a grassy area short of the runway and flipped onto its roof shortly before 2 p.m. Tuesday. The cause of the accident was not clear, and Price said he was going to notify the Federal Aviation Administration. Price said the man was the only person aboard the Zodiac kit plane, and he had some cuts and was dazed. He was taken to a hospital.
