Police have arrested a local man for his alleged involvement in an assault on a Brown University basketball player from Norwood, Mass., who is hospitalized with severe head injuries. Vernon police said Tuesday that they had arrested Tory Lussier at his home. Providence police hold a felony arrest warrant for the 25-year-old Lussier. He was being held at the Vernon Police Department as a fugitive from justice on the Rhode Island warrant and is to appear Thursday in Rockville Superior Court for arraignment and extradition proceedings.
