A Pittsfield man and a teenager have been arrested following a police raid on their apartment. Police said they recovered more than 8 grams of crack cocaine, guns, drug-dealing paraphernalia, and $500 from the apartment occupied by Harold Young III, 41, and a 17-year-old. Young pleaded not guilty Thursday to drug and gun charges and was held on $5,000 cash bond. The youth pleaded not guilty to gun charges and was freed on personal recognizance. The Berkshire Eagle reported that Young’s lawyer told a judge that his client was cooperating with police and that the money was for rent.
