Man charged with murdering South Boston woman

Boston police have arrested a man and charged him with killing a 33-year-old woman who was found dead inside her home at East Fourth Street in South Boston Wednesday night.

Martin Jiminez is scheduled to be arraigned sometime today in South Boston Municipal Court and charged him murdering the woman, according to Suffolk District Attorney Daniel F. Conley’s office.


The woman’s name is currently being withheld pending notification of next of kin.

Police said they responded to 752 East Fourth St. shortly before 6 p.m. to conduct a well-being check on the woman. When they arrived, they found her body inside and launched a homicide investigation.
