A 19-year-old Taunton man was expected to face a murder charge in connection with a drive-by shooting in Brockton in April. Derrick Dennis was scheduled to be arraigned in connection with the April 22 daytime shooting of Vardly St. Felix. Authorities told The Enterprise of Brockton that Dennis was arrested on Saturday. He is charged with murder, two counts of assault with intent to murder, unlawful possession of a firearm, and unlawful possession of ammunition. He was the second man arrested in connection with St. Felix’s death. Police said St. Felix was killed and another man injured when an SUV pulled up alongside their car and someone opened fire.
