Police: 2 found in apartment were homicide victims

Police in Central Falls, R.I., say two men whose bodies they recovered in an apartment last week were victims of homicide. Central Falls Police Chief James Mendonca said Sunday that both victims were adults, but authorities would not release their identities until their families are notified. Authorities found the victims last Wednesday after neighbors of the Sylvian Street apartment called authorities to report a foul odor. Neighbors said they believed the men had been dead for some time.
