Face transplant recipient writes about experience

THERAPY IN WRITING — Carmen Tarleton of Thetford, Vt., was disfigured in a lye attack by her estranged husband and received a face transplant at Brigham and Women’s Hospital in February. She returned Tuesday to sign a book about her journey. Many of the doctors and nurses who treated her, including Hassanatu Wanu, waited in line for a copy of the book
and to see her again.
