The discovery of two elderly people found dead in a home on Thistle Lane Thursday afternoon is being investigated as a possible murder-suicide. A family member arrived at the house around 4:30 p.m. to find the bodies. The townhouse-style home at 1 Thistle Lane is owned by Vincent and Ellen Maher. As one woman arrived at the house and rushed toward the door, a detective told her she could not go in. She embraced another family member, who was covering his face with his hands. He was later driven away in a detective’s car.
