Second fatality from July 4 Sagamore crash

A 43-year-old Sandwich man died Thursday of injuries he sustained in a July 4 crash on the Sagamore Bridge in Bourne, Cape and Islands District Attorney Michael O’Keefe said. the Sandwich man is the second fatality from the accident. Amanon Bogomolsky, an Israeli citizen, was also killed in the crash, O’Keefe said. State Police have said that a pickup truck hit a GMC Sierra pickup truck driven by the latest victim, which then crossed into oncoming traffic and hit head-on a Chrysler Town and Country minivan driven by Bogomolsky. O’Keefe said his office is still investigating the crash. Neither O’Keefe nor State Police were able to confirm the identity of the Sandwich man.
