Police have identified the two people who died in a head-on crash on Route 102 in Burrillville near the site of another accident that killed a woman last week. Authorities said Shannon Heil of Burrillville and Markell Torres of Easthampton, Mass., died when the car Heil was driving collided with a minivan Thursday afternoon. Both were 19. William Scurry, 21, of Woonsocket suffered a minor injury. The driver of the minivan — Stephanie Jalette, 34, of Burrillville — was flown to Rhode Island Hospital and is being treated for serious injuries. Police are trying to determine the cause.
