Branford police said a woman in a wheelchair and another pedestrian were struck by a car in a private parking lot. Police said Christin Langlois, 37, who was in the wheelchair, and Kendra Geraci, 32, who was assisting Langlois, were struck by the vehicle shortly before 11 a.m. Friday on West Main Street. The women were taken to Yale-New Haven Hospital, where a spokesman said they were being evaluated in the emergency department. Police said the car, driven by Lura Ellsworth, 87, of Branford, was traveling toward the exit of the parking lot when her vehicle hit the pedestrians.
