The India Association of Greater Boston has found a new location for its India Day celebration after canceling Saturday’s planned celebration at the Hatch Shell on the Charles River Esplanade in Boston. The association’s annual India Day will now be held Sept. 8 at Andover High School’s Collins Center. The celebration, which has commemorated India’s independence on the Esplanade for more than 20 years, was rescheduled because of the higher cost of increased security required since the Boston Marathon bombings.
