Ex-employee accused of hacking town network in Vernon

A former systems analyst for the town of Vernon has been arrested on charges that she remotely monitored her supervisor’s computer. Jisung Woo, 43, is also accused of improperly attempting to get access to the town’s computer network from home. The Journal Inquirer reported that Woo was arrested July 29 and charged with second-degree computer crime. She was released on $500 bond and is due in Vernon Superior Court on Sept. 4. Woo told police that she felt her supervisors subjected her to racial discrimination and that she had been preparing a letter of complaint to the state Labor Department.
