Officials investigate fatal shooting

Officials are investigating a fatal shooting of a 25-year-old Dracut man early this morning in Lowell, according to the Middlesex District Attorney’s office.

Lowell police responded to reports of multiple shots fired in the area of 131 Middlesex St. around 1:38 a.m. and discovered the victim, who police identified as Keny Sien, the district attorney’s office said in a statement.

Sien was transported to Saints Memorial Medical Center, according to the statement, and pronounced dead at approximately 7:33 a.m.

Lowell Police and State Police assigned to the Middlesex District Attorney’s office are investigating the cause and circumstances of the shooting.

No arrests have been made and the investigation is ongoing. Police are looking for a vehicle that was seen leaving the scene.
