What’s ahead in the Aaron Hernandez case

Dates have not been set for Superior Court arraignments for Aaron Hernandez and Ernest Wallace, but they are expected to occur within the next few weeks. Hernandez, 23, of North Attleborough, has been charged with murder and

four firearm-related offenses.

Friday Tanya Singleton, 37, of Bristol, Conn., was charged with contempt in refusing to testify before grand jury. She is scheduled to be arraigned in Superior Court in Fall River.

Monday Ernest Wallace, 41, of Miramar, Fla., indicted on a single count of accessory to murder after the fact, is scheduled for a probable cause hearing in Attleboro District Court; the hearing may be canceled.

Thursday Carlos Ortiz, 27, of Bristol, Conn., charged with unlawful possession of a firearm, is scheduled for a dangerousness hearing in

Attleboro District Court.

Aug. 30 Attleboro District Court Judge Stephen Ostrach is scheduled to consider three motions filed by Hernandez’s legal team concerning additional discovery materials, an existing gag order, and alleged prosecutorial misconduct.
