A woman was assaulted and thrown from a moving vehicle early Sunday morning, according to Bedford police. The alleged assault happened on Dudley Road at 4:18 a.m., which is about the time police received a 911 call, said dispatcher Alisha Bradley. Police responded, provided first aid to the victim, whose injuries were not life threatening, and took her to a medical facility. Bedford and Billerica police, as well as a Burlington police dog, searched the area and located a vehicle thought to be involved. No arrests had been made late Sunday afternoon, but Bedford police had identified two persons of interest. Investigators did not identify the victim or persons of interest. “The investigation is open and active,” Bradley said.
