Teen injured after his bicycle hits car in Newton

A 17-year-old boy was injured Wednesday morning, when he rode his bicycle into a car that was stopped at a stop sign in Newton, police said.

The teenager struck the vehicle at the intersection of Harvard and Cabot streets, police said. He was taken to Boston Children’s Hospital with injuries that were not considered life-threatening, police said.
