A 55-year-old Connecticut woman was released on personal recognizance after being charged with assaulting her daughter at the younger woman’s wedding in Sudbury, officials said. Leslie Duane of West Haven pleaded not guilty at her arraignment Wednesday in Framingham District Court to a charge of assault and battery, said Middlesex district attorney spokeswoman Stephanie Guyotte. Duane is due back in court Dec. 6 for a pretrial hearing, said Guyotte. Duane was arrested Sunday during the wedding at the Arabian Horse Inn in Sudbury. Duane had been drinking and struck her daughter, Guyotte said. Reached at her Connecticut home on Thursday, Duane had no comment.
