Police in St. Albans, Vt., said they found a loaded pistol, two shotguns, a rifle, a machete, and other weapons in the vehicle of a 17-year-old Northwest Technical Center Student on school property. Police said the student broke no laws, but school officials said he has been disciplined. The teenager, whose name was not released, also attends school in another district. Details of the disciplinary action were not disclosed. The St. Albans Messenger reported that the student had dropped the car off to be worked on at the technical center’s automotive shop. A teacher searched the glove box looking for registration information and first discovered the pistol Sept. 30.
