A Salem woman was charged with drunken driving and reckless endangerment of a child after driving on train tracks in Beverly on Friday and crashing an SUV with her 5-year-old son as a passenger, Beverly police said. Michelle Leclair, 46, crashed a Ford Explorer into a side platform at the Beverly Depot train station about 10:30 p.m., Beverly Police Lieutenant Michael Devlin said. The child was taken to Beverly Hospital as a precaution. According to Devlin, Leclair was charged with operating under the influence of liquor, a marked lanes violation, reckless endangerment of a child, and reckless operation of a motor vehicle as to endanger. She posted bail and is to be arraigned on Tuesday in Salem District Court, Devlin said.
