Disabled man assaulted, robbed in New Haven

New Haven police are looking for two men who allegedly tied up a disabled man with a garden hose and stole his money and car during a home invasion. Authorities said the 39-year-old victim was robbed Tuesday night. Police said two suspects armed with handguns pushed the man inside his apartment after he opened the door and then spent the next hour ransacking the home. Officials said the robbers demanded cash, forced the victim to the floor, assaulted him, and demanded he give them his medications. Police said the suspects fled with cash, electronics, and the victim’s 1999 Buick Park Avenue. The man managed to free himself and called police.
