Drug deal done in police parking lot, authorities say

Worcester police said two people with business at the Police Department allegedly did a drug deal in the parking lot before they left. The Worcester Telegram & Gazette reported that police said a detective walking out of police headquarters Wednesday afternoon saw a car parked in a police lot. Police said he recognized a man and woman at the car because they had just been questioned about an unrelated matter. The detective approached and asked why they were parked there, and said he saw the woman holding a small plastic bag containing white powder. The 34-year-old Worcester man and 27-year-old North Grafton woman were charged with heroin possession. (AP)
