Two injured in shootings in Mattapan, Roxbury

A male suffered life-threatening injuries when he was shot in Mattapan on Thursday night, police said. The victim was shot at approximately 9:45 p.m. on Almont Street, Officer Nicole Grant said. The victim, whose identity was not released, was taken to Boston Medical Center, Grant said. The victim’s age was not immediately clear. Just moments after the Mattapan incident, police also responded a person shot on Eustis Street in Roxbury, Grant said. No further details were immediately available Thursday night.
