Two men were shot in Brockton on Friday night, and one of them was arrested, after a drug deal went awry, police said. John Intakoun and Rouin Tilithda, two 23-year-old cousins from Brockton, were trying to sell a pound of marijuana to two people at an abandoned house on Taber Avenue when a fight broke out, Brockton police Sergeant James Baroud said. Tilithda was shot in the stomach and Intakoun in the calf, Baroud said. Police charged Intakoun with possessing marijuana with intent to distribute and illegal possession of a firearm. He is scheduled to be arraigned Monday in Brockton District Court. Intakoun was treated at Signature Healthcare in Brockton and released. Tilithda, who was critically injured, was taken to a hospital in Boston and has not been charged, Baroud said. Police are investigating who fired the shots.
