Hiker discovers bones in woods in Brockton

A hiker discovered some bones in a wooded area near East Street in Brockton Monday morning, police said. Brockton police and detectives assigned to the Plymouth district attorney are investigating, said Brockton police Lieutenant Paul Bonanca. A medical examiner will determine whether the bones are human, the district attorney’s office said.
