A 22-year-old Springfield man has been charged with the fatal stabbing of a Chicopee woman two years ago. Dennis Rosa Roman was arrested Tuesday and pleaded not guilty in Chicopee District Court. He was held without bail. Roman is accused of killing Amanda Plasse on the day her body was found in her apartment in August 2011. Police believed she was getting ready for her job as a waitress when she was attacked. The Springfield Republican reported that Hampden District Attorney Mark Mastroianni told the judge that he and Roman’s lawyer Edward Fogarty agreed to impound affidavit and arrest warrant documents until a Nov. 18 hearing.
