STAMFORD, Conn.

Woman survives 11-story fall, Stamford, Conn., police say

Stamford police said a woman survived an 11-story fall from a condominium building, and now they are trying to determine what happened. Officers were called to the Fountain Terrace building shortly after 6:30 p.m. Tuesday. The Advocate of Stamford reported that the 42-year-old woman fell from her balcony and was brought to Stamford Hospital. Her condition has not been released. Police are investigating whether it was an accident, a suicide attempt, or something else. The woman’s name has not been disclosed. Building security guard Jelanee Allen said that he heard the woman scream and that it sounded as if she fell accidentally.
