Quincy police are investigating the death of a man whose body was found at the scene of a brush fire early Sunday morning on Hancock Street. Police said they received reports of a brush fire at 475 Hancock St. around 3 a.m. and that firefighters discovered the body while putting out the fire, said police Captain John Dougan. David Traub, spokesman for the Norfolk district attorney’s office, said investigators believe the man was from out of state, but have not confirmed his identity. Traub added that objects at the scene indicated the victim was living there.
