Man stabbed inside Mattapan apartment

A man in his 20s was stabbed in a Mattapan apartment early Sunday morning and transported to Boston Medical Center, according to Officer Neva Coakley, a Boston police spokeswoman. About 3:15 a.m. Sunday, police responded to a call reporting a stabbing and found the victim inside an apartment at 112 Wellington Hill St., where several people had gathered, Coakley said. The victim’s condition was not known Sunday evening, according to police, who are investigating. Additional information, including the identity of the victim, a description of any suspect, or the circumstances of the stabbing, also was not available Sunday.
