A North Kingstown woman charged with allowing teenagers to drink alcohol at her home during her daughter’s 16th birthday party has pleaded not guilty to violating the state’s social host law. Jayne Donegan, 51, was released on personal recognizance at her arraignment Tuesday on charges of procuring alcohol for the teenagers and assaulting a police officer who came to the home to investigate. Police said they went to Donegan’s home Jan. 25 after getting complaints. Two teenagers were hospitalized for drinking too much. Donegan’s lawyer said his client denies the charges.
