A Bellows Falls-based community radio station is off the air temporarily while finalizing an expansion and waiting for a new federal license that would allow it to increase its coverage threefold. Great Falls Community Broadcasting Co. (WOOL-FM), or Black Sheep Radio, went off the air to allow technical work and testing to its updated equipment while it waits for word on whether the Federal Communications Commission will approve its new license. ‘If approved, the expansion would increase the station’s listening audience from 35,000 to roughly 135,000, from White River Junction to Greenfield, Mass.
