One man was arrested after a Lakeville snow plow truck driver was hit in the head with a shovel late Saturday, police said. Lakeville police received a report of disturbance between a resident and snow plow driver in the area of 28 Churchill Road about 8:30 p.m. Saturday, authorities said. Rescue crews evaluated the driver, who refused to be taken to the hospital, police said in a statement. He was not identified. Police Sergeant Steven Leanues arrested Douglas Haskell on charges of “assault and battery by means of a dangerous weapon (snow shovel),” the statement said. Haskell will be arraigned in Wareham District Court on Tuesday.
