A water main break in the Burlington Mall’s parking lot caused a car to partially fall into a sinkhole Thursday afternoon, police said. The break occurred in front of the Sears store, a mall official said. A Toyota Camry was partially in the hole, said a police dispatcher. No injuries were reported, and it was not immediately clear if anyone was inside the car. The mall was closed for the remainder of the day. Burlington public works employees and police were investigating the cause of the break, said Linnea Kelliher, a mall spokeswoman said.
