Six arrested in apartment drug raid

Six people were arrested in a drug raid early Friday in Brockton, police Lieutenant Paul Bonanca said. According to Bonanca, when officers entered the second-floor apartment at 24 Turner St. at about 5:30 a.m., Joshua Lewis, 27, of Taunton, dove out a window. He was captured by detectives below, treated for minor injuries at Good Samaritan Medical Center, and released into custody a few hours later. At the apartment, police uncovered 71.5 grams of crack cocaine, $2,957 in cash and two scales, two illegal firearms, and 47 rounds of ammunition, Bonanca said. Lewis and five others — Chinetti Jones, 30; Danielle Sergio, 29; Curtis Silva, 27; Rupert Weeks, 29; and Antonio Martins, 18, all of Brockton — were charged with several drug- and firearms-related offenses. They are to be arraigned in Brockton District Court Monday.
