Trader Joe’s to open first Vermont store

Officials of the Trader Joe’s grocery chain said the company will open its first store in Vermont this spring. The planned 12,800-square-foot store will open on May 16 in South Burlington next to the Healthy Living Market and Cafe, officials told the Burlington Free Press. Property owner Malone Dorset Street Properties LLC demolished three homes to make room for the project. (AP)
