Three New Hampshire firefighters were hospitalized Sunday night after suffering injuries while fighting a fire that started in a home’s chicken coop and quickly spread into the house. Two firefighters were taken to hospitals for serious burns, and a third was treated and released for a hand injury, Claremont Fire Chief Rick Bergeron said in a statement Monday. The names of the firefighters were not immediately released. Claremont firefighters responded shortly after 6 p.m. Sunday to a fire on Cherry Hill Road.
