Two killed, one badly hurt in head-on crash

A man and a woman were killed and a woman was in critical condition after a head-on crash on Harrison Boulevard in Avon around midnight, according to the Norfolk district attorney’s office. Joshua Deacon, 26, of Stoughton was apparently driving a 2008 gray Altima westbound on Harrison Boulevard when he crossed the double-yellow line into the eastbound lane, according to a statement from the district attorney’s office. Deacon was killed when his car struck a Hyundai traveling eastbound carrying two women in their 40s. The passenger in the Hyundai, Tina Lachance, 49, of Brockton, was killed. The driver, whose name was not released, was taken to a Boston trauma center, where she was being treated for life-threatening injuries, according to the statement.
