Boston University graduate Eric Munsell, who was last seen in Boston Feb. 8, was identified Thursday as the person whose body was recovered from Boston Harbor near Long Wharf Wednesday.
At this point, investigators do not suspect foul play in the death of Munsell, 24, said Jake Wark, spokesman for the Suffolk district attorney.
Munsell was last seen leaving the Market Lounge in downtown Boston Feb. 8 about 11:30 p.m., police said. He was out celebrating his birthday with friends, his mother, Mary Lynn Mills, said in recent interviews.
The New Jersey native had moved to Boston for college and began work as an engineer at General Electric after graduation, his family has said.

Colin Riley, a BU spokesman, said he was saddened. “We are very upset,” said Riley. “Our thoughts and prayers are with his friends and family.”
On Feb. 11, detectives searched for Munsell in the water behind the Marriot Long Wharf Hotel and found another man struggling to climb out of the water. The water in the harbor was recorded at 32 degrees that night, officials said.
