April 15

2:49 p.m.: Explosions at Boston Marathon

3:31 p.m.: Matanov allegedly calls Tamerlan Tsarnaev and invites him to dinner

That evening: Matanov allegedly buys Dzhokhar and Tamerlan Tsarnaev dinner

Later that night: Matanov speaks with witness and allegedly tells witness (Witness 1) that bombings could have had a just reason, such as if they were done in the name of Islam

April 17

5:04 p.m.: Matanov allegedly calls Dzhokhar Tsarnaev, but the two do not connect.

A minute or so later, he reaches Tamerlan and talks for about a minute and a half.

5:35 p.m.: Matanov allegedly calls Dzhokhar but does not connect

6:53 p.m.: Matanov allegedly speaks with Tamerlan by phone for about a minute.

6:57 p.m.: Matanov allegedly calls Dzhokhar but does not connect

Later that night: Matanov allegedly visits Tamerlan at his Cambridge home

9:35 p.m.: Matanov allegedly tries to call Dzhokhar but does not connect

April 18

5:15 p.m.: FBI releases suspect photos

5:42 p.m. - 7:17 p.m.: Matanov allegedly looks at the photos and reads stories about them on FBI and CNN websites

8:16 p.m.: Matanov allegedly tries to call Dzhokhar but does not connect

Late night - early morning next day: Marathon bombing suspects engage in shootout, Tamerlan dies

April 19

2 a.m.: FBI releases more photos on its website

2:33 - 2:35 a.m.: Matanov looks at the photos and stories on FBI and CNN websites

2:36 a.m. - April 20, 7:56 p.m.: Matanov at some point allegedly deletes files on his computer before it is taken by investigators

6:55 a.m.: Matanov receives call from cab client (Witness 2), tells client during cab ride that he recognized the Tsarnaevs’ address as belonging to his friend, says he had not been there in a while

7:17 a.m.: Matanov allegedly makes final call to Dzhokhar Tsarnaev but does not connect

Later in the morning: Matanov visits witness (Witness 3), says Tamerlan Tsarnaev is dead, asks witness to take cellphones; witness refuses

Later in the morning: Matanov picks up Witness 2 in cab. Matanov and Witness 2 go to Braintree Police Department, where Matanov is interviewed by detective.

Around noon: Matanov allegedly asks Witness 1 to hold cellphones, help reformat his computer, delete data; Witness 1 refuses

Later that day: Dzhokhar Tsarnaev captured

April 20

Matanov interviewed by federal investigators

7:56 p.m.: FBI obtains Matanov’s computer
