Body found in Emmanuel College building

A man’s body was found inside a building on Emmanuel College’s campus today, officials said.

The man, whose identity was not immediately released, was an employee of an adult summer conference being held at the Fenway college, Jack Kelly, director of campus safety, said in a statement.

The man was found at 11 a.m. in St. Joseph Hall at 400 Fenway, Kelly said. The building is a dorm that houses undergraduates.

The man’s death does not appear suspicious at this time, said David Estrada, a spokesman for Boston police.

No further information was immediately available.

The Boston Police Department is investigating the incident.
